BJA – Northern Home Counties Area ‘Inter Club’ Training on 15th May at the High Wycombe Judo Centre, for Minors (10+) – Juniors (-21).
The session was well attended, with 33 Judoka in attendance from the following NHC clubs: Bishops Stortford Judokwai, High Wycombe JC, Micklefield Judo Club, Newbury Judo Club, Osterley Judo Club, Pinewood Judo Club, Renzoku Judo Club, Rushjudo, St. Albans Judo Club, Team A.S Judo and Windsor Judo Club
Nicki harris(Newbury Judo Club), Paul Horseman (Micklefield) and Ian rose (Micklefield) led the session alongside NHC Director of Coaching (Martin Rance) putting the attending judoka through their paces in a two-hour training session. With a wide range of ability and experience on show, from Novices (straight out of completing a 6-week beginners’ course) to National Level players (One of whom has just been selected to represent England at the Cadet European Championships), all the judoka’s displayed a fantastic level of effort and commitment, training hard though out the session.
I would like to thank all the Judoka and parents for attending and supporting the event, To High Wycombe Judo Centre for providing the venue and for keeping the parents well-watered and fed with Tea’s, coffee and cake throughout the duration. I would also like to extend a massive thank you and my sincere appreciation to Nicki, Paul and Ian for their expert tuition and delivery of a great session, as well as giving up their time to support our area Judoka.
Please keep your eyes peeled for information on our next Interclub area training session.
