NHC Events

The Northern Home Counties clubs run many competitions, development days and masterclasses each year. Most are administered by clubs, details of which can be found on the BJA Events Calendar.

NHC Area Training

Quarterly area training events are run by Sensei Martin Rance, 5th Dan, Director for Coaching the NHC. Martin is joined by many experienced coaches from the area to run training sessions for all those interested in training with judoka from across the area, and improving their randori & competition judo.

NHC Area Competitions

The NHC area runs a number of competitions throughout the year at various locations. These competitions range from low-grade events for those just getting started, to more advanced competitions for those looking to progress their Judo. The showcase event each year is the NHC Open held in September each year.

NHC Kata courses, assessments and competitions are run by Paul Jordan 6th Dan, NHC Kata Lead.
Kata is an important part of Judo and essential for anybody looking to complete a Dan grading. The higher your grade, the more Kata you need to know!
